The Free Quilting Website anyone can use!

Hi, my name is Rita and I love quilting!  Yes I'm one of those people who can't get enough of it. I have 2 friends, Anne & Wendy, that introduced me to quilting.  I never thought that this was something that I could ever undertake.  First thing I knew, I was buying a new sewing machine, patterns, and lots of fabric.  They gave me a few lessons on how to get started.  My first quilt was for my grand-daughter.  I was actually shocked with what I put together.  And then I was on my way ..........!

I've been quilting for a number of years and now that I have recently retired, I hope to be able to dedicate more time to it. I've learned a lot during my quilting journey and wanted a way to share the skills and tricks I have acquired along the way.  So, I (along with some help from my son) decided to put this site together to share what I have learned.

What is Momma's Quilting Corner, and who made it?

The Momma's Quilting Corner website was designed to serve as a great source of quilting information and resources for anyone wanting it.  Everything found on the website was put together by myself along with some help from a number of friends and family members who all enjoy the art of quilting.  Although some of us are older than we'd like to admit, we all bring years of experience to the table.   

Why is Momma's Quilting Corner free?

This is simple, I wanted to develop a site that anyone could use without having to pay for it.  Although it is often true that "you get what you pay for", this online quilting resource offers you a lot of value yet still costs nothing.

How then does Momma's Quilting Corner pay for itself? 

Although my website is free, we encourage you to take a look at some of our google postings and quilting products to see if any interest you.  By visiting some of my partnered sites, you help keep this site running free of cost. 

Where do all the articles and information come from?

Most of the articles are written by either myself or family members (I have a big family).  However, we do occasionally accept articles and information from outside sources.  We do not write or accept articles that are "selling" or "promoting" a product or topic.  All the articles are intended to be unbiased and informational only. 

Can I copy or use the patterns & articles for personal use?

All the patterns and articles are copyrighted (Copyright © 2005, Momma's Quilting Corner) and are not to be copied or distributed under any circumstances.  You can however use the patterns for personal use if you like, but may not copy or redistribute anything to third parties including other websites or magazines.  

Hopefully I was able to answer a few of your questions about my website.  I hope you will continue to enjoy our great collection of resources and recommend my website to anyone who could use it.
